Camp @ Marahau

Camp Gear List 2016
Everyone must have:
Sunhat, sunblock and insect repellent
Warm hat
Polyprop top
Small backpack (to carry gear for a day’s walk)
Lunch and drink bottle (it is a good idea to double what you normally would provide)
Warm sleeping bag
Pillow slip (own pillow if you wish)
Waterproof raincoat or parka (activities will be done in the rain)
Torch (with fresh batteries)
1 pair of gym shoes or sandals
1 pair of walking shoes with closed toes – comfortable
1 pair of shoes guaranteed to get wet eg. aqua socks
Shorts, trackpants, t shirts, shirts etc.
2 warm jerseys/sweatshirts/polar fleece
2-3 pairs of socks
Underwear (3 changes)
Pyjamas
Swimwear
Wetsuit if you have one (optional)
2 towels
Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, facecloth, soap)
Durable (not crockery) plate, bowl, mug, cutlery (all named).
2 plastic grocery bags for wet gear
Personal medication (please see your class teacher about this)
A good book to read
Please provide a small container of biscuits, pretzels, rice crackers, or similar to share for supper, morning and afternoon teas. This must be in a named container with ingredients listed on top. No Nuts Please!!
The above list is the basic requirements.  Clothing should be warm and adequate.  As many activities will be outdoors, ‘best’ clothing is not desirable.  Serviceable footwear is imperative.  All gear is to be clearly named and packed in a kitbag, pack or small suitcase which should be labelled.

NO RADIOS, CELL PHONES, MONEY, KNIVES, I PODS, OR ELECTRONIC GAMES ARE PERMITTED.  No sweets, packets of chips or fizzy drink.
